A FORMER Aberdeen FC ace has been banned from the road after he crashed his car while three times the drink-drive limit.
Dean Windass admitted the offence, which led to a collision with a parked car.
Windass, 43, was arrested after he drove his silver Mercedes into the other vehicle on Otley Road, Baildon, near Bradford.
Windass – who told police he had drunk two large glasses of wine and two pints of lager six hours before the crash – was banned from driving for 28 months and also ordered to complete 250 hours of unpaid work.
