Talks in bid to avoid strike by First Aberdeen bus drivers
Union set to ballot members over industrial action
Published: 12/10/2012
TALKS between bus company First Aberdeen and union leaders are due to take place at conciliation service ACAS next month in a bid to settle a dispute over pay.
The Unite union is set to ballot members later this month on industrial action in Aberdeen after failing to agree a pay deal with bosses.
First Aberdeen reportedly offered drivers a 1.5% pay rise but with strings attached, including a cut in overtime payments.
