Aberdeen murder probe: Two women charged

TWO women have been charged in connection with the death of a man whose body was found in an Aberdeen lane.

Police confirmed the pair, aged 30 and 22, were to appear in court “in due course”.

The charges come as officers revealed the man who allegedly died after being stabbed, was named as Peter Newell.

The 31-year-old had been living in Aberdeen at the time of his death.

A 31-year-old man has already been charged in connection with the murder inquiry and was due to appear in private at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
