FORMER Aberdeen FC striker Scott Booth believes the club have two youngsters who could reach the top flight.

Booth is now assistant coach for Scotland Under-16s, who play against Wales at Pittodrie on Friday night.

The clash is the first game in the Victory Shield, a tournament featuring the four home nations.

Aberdeen development players Michael Kelly and Richie Petrie are expected to feature in the clash.

Booth said: “They have both done really well and they will both progress further.”
