‘Aberdeen FC have caused teams some real problems’

SCOTT Vernon today insisted being used as a lone striker for Aberdeen FC is paying off – even though he has yet to score in the SPL this season.

Aberdeen FC boss Craig Brown has utilised a 4-3-3 system this season, with Vernon the target man.

The top striker for the last two seasons at Pittodrie, Vernon has yet to find the net in the league, despite leading the line in all eight SPL games.
