‘Langfield kept Aberdeen FC in cup’

CRAIG Brown today thanked Jamie Langfield for keeping Aberdeen FC’s dream of Hampden cup glory alive.

A last-gasp strike from Scott Vernon gave Aberdeen FC a 1-0 victory over Dunfermline at East End Park and a place in the last eight of the League Cup.

Brown admitted they would probably have lost were it not for the goalkeeping heroics of Langfield.
