Aberdeen FC ready to rumble in cup showdown

CRAIG Brown today claimed Aberdeen FC are ready for a battle in their bid to see off Dunfermline in the League Cup.

Division One side Pars have racked up five straight wins. But Brown insisted Aberdeen FC are prepared to dig deep to book a spot in the quarter-finals tonight.

Brown said: “We have to show our mettle from the start and be ready to battle to progress to the next round.”
