Three men injured in car crash

THREE young men were taken to hospital in Aberdeen today after their car crashed on the outskirts of a town.

A blue Vauxhall Vectra was involved in the accident on the Kingsford Road near Alford shortly after midnight.

Grampian Police said the front passenger suffered head injuries and was left in a serious condition. Two other men suffered minor injuries.

They were all taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
