Aberdeen FC boss praises ref for red card U-turn

CRAIG Brown today praised referee George Salmond for having the guts to admit he was wrong to send off Aberdeen FC’s Russell Anderson.

Aberdeen FC won their appeal for wrongful dismissal after skipper Anderson was red carded for a tackle on Shane Sutherland in the 1-1 draw at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Brown said: “It takes a big man to admit he is wrong, especially when it is a public admission like this.”
