Aberdeen solicitor sentenced after being found with indecent images of children
Man ordered to do unpaid work and put on probation
AN ABERDEEN lawyer caught with indecent images of children has been ordered to do 180 hours of unpaid work.
Daniel Meakin, 25 – a corporate litigation solicitor – previously admitted committing the offence.
Aberdeen Sheriff Court heard that 117 indecent images were found on his computer after police searched his home.
Meakin, whose address was given as 31d Wallfield Crescent, Aberdeen, was also placed on probation for three years.
