Emeli Sande nominated for five Mobo Awards

SINGER Emeli Sande is set to battle it out against fellow chart toppers at an awards show.

The North-east musician has been nominated for the Best Female category at the Mobo Awards.

The popstar has been nominated for five awards in total at the event, which will be held at Liverpool’s Echo Arena on November 3.

Emeli has been riding high after performing at the opening and closing ceremonies of the Olympics.

And last weekend she married marine biologist Adam Gouraguine in his native Montenegro.
