Aberdeen FC set to appeal Anderson red card

ABERDEEN FC manager Craig Brown today confirmed the club are set to appeal Russell Anderson’s red card against Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Skipper Anderson faces an immediate one-game ban that will rule him out of Sunday’s SPL clash against league leaders Motherwell at Pittodrie.

However, footage of the tackle has shown Aberdeen FC centre-back Anderson made contact with the ball to toe-poke it away from Sutherland.

And Aberdeen FC are ready to ask the SFA to review the red card incident.
