Friends pray for footballer Chris Tucker to pull through after crash

MESSAGES of support today continued to flood in for a footballer in a critical condition after a car crash.

Elgin City trialist Chris Tucker was left fighting for his life at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary as result of the accident.

The 21-year-old had to undergo a five-hour operation on two broken legs. He is also being treated for a broken pelvis and severe lacerations to his head.

Four other players were also taken to hospital after the crash between two Vauxhall Corsas.
