A NORTH-EAST singer has taken American TV talent show The Voice by storm.

Terry McDermott, 36, of Pitmedden – the former frontman with Driveblind – moved to the states to pursue his musical career.

And, after a stunning rendition of The Who’s Baba O’Riley on the US version of the talent show, Terry chose to be coached by country superstar Blake Shelton.
