Plea to extend AECC to attract top name acts

BOSSES want to build a £20 million arena to lure big artists to Aberdeen.
Performers including Lady Gaga, Elton John and Beyonce have all missed out on playing at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre due to capacity constraints.
AECC managing director Brian Horsburgh has made the expansion plea as Glasgow gets ready to open a major new concert venue.
