‘Scotland call-up proves I was right to leave Aberdeen FC’
Foster out to make mark with national team
FORMER Aberdeen FC skipper Richard Foster today claimed his Scotland call-up proves he was right to leave Pittodrie.
A late addition to the Scotland squad, Foster was an unused substitute in the 0-0 World Cup qualifier draw with Serbia at Hampden.
The 27-year-old full-back never received a senior call-up while at Aberdeen FC. But Foster has broken into Craig Levein’s squad since transferring to Championship side Bristol City in January.
