ABERDEEN City Council chiefs have today revealed plans to let communities bid for a slice of cash for Hogmanay celebrations.
Under the scheme, communities across Aberdeen will be able to stake a claim to a £29,000 pot of cash.
A report had stated there will be no Hogmanay fireworks celebration but instead the authority wants to encourage people to bring in the bells with bashes around the suburbs.
