‘Aberdeen FC will deliver a new stadium’

ABERDEEN FC today insisted they are confident they will win their fight to move to a new stadium.

Hopes of going to Loirston Loch were dashed when Aberdeen City Council regained control of Calder Park, which was earmarked as a training centre for the club.

Aberdeen FC vice-chairman George Yule confirmed private landowners in Aberdeenshire have offered them alternative sites. Further talks with the city council are also planned.
