OFFSHORE operations in the North Sea were getting back to normal today after fog grounded flights at Aberdeen Airport.

Passengers at Aberdeen Airport faced delays of up to two hours as fog blanketed the city yesterday.

Services from Aberdeen to Shetland were cancelled, along with departures to Groningen in the Netherlands.

The weather caused knock-on problems for services at Aberdeen Airport throughout the day, with most flights departing just under an hour late.
