Brown has faith that Vernon will strike it right for Aberdeen FC

SCOTT Vernon was today reassured he will get another chance to prove he’s the top goal-grabber for Aberdeen FC.

Striker Vernon missed two glorious chances – with a poor header and weak shot – as Aberdeen FC were held to a draw by SPL newcomers Ross County at Pittodrie.

But manager Craig Brown underlined his faith in Vernon, the club’s top scorer for the last two seasons, by confirming the Englishman will keep his place for Saturday’s league clash with St Johnstone in Perth.
