Simmy gets ready for his big day at Aberdeen FC

ABERDEEN FC legend Neil Simpson today admitted he’s “humbled” to have been honoured by the club.

Manchester United come to Pittodrie on Tuesday for Neil’s benefit match, in recognition of his two decades of service to the club as a player and coach. In the first chapter of our series about his life in football, Neil confessed he’s been a little overcome by the praise that’s come his way over the last few weeks.

“I’m very grateful but also very humbled,” said Neil, now the head of Aberdeen FC’s youth development.
