Woman dies in Aberdeen house fire
Firefighters called to Gillespie Crescent incident

A WOMAN died today after a fire ripped through an Aberdeen house.
Nearly two dozen firefighters were called to Gillespie Crescent in Aberdeen after the fire broke out.
Neighbours today described plumes of smoke shooting out of the Aberdeen property, with it taking more than an hour for the fire to be brought under control.
North Anderson Drive station manager Gordon Riddel, of Grampian Fire and Rescue Service, who was at the Gillespie Crescent incident, confirmed a woman had died as a result of the fire.
