HEAVY rain is set to give way to rising temperatures in the Aberdeen area, weather experts confirmed today.
Heavy showers battered the region yesterday, flooding busy roads and homes in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
The mixed bag of weather even saw a waterspout form in Bucksburn. A resident captured the formation as torrential rain soaked Aberdeen.
The rain was expected to continue today, with temperatures reaching 17C (62F). However, temperatures are expected to rise to 19C (66F) tomorrow and could climb slightly higher on Friday and Saturday.
