Aberdeen’s Capitol Theatre art deco facade could be saved
Developer could give away pipe organ
AN ART deco theatre front in Aberdeen could be saved with a £1 million revamp if plans go ahead.
And one of the last remaining pipe organs in Scotland could also be restored after years of neglect.
Developer Carlton Rock is keen to knock down the rest of the former Capitol Theatre building on Union Street to build an office block but could give away one of Scotland’s last remaining pipe organs.
