Five arrested after Brechin v Rangers cup-tie

AN ABERDEEN man was arrested in connection with “offensive singing” at a Rangers match.

Grampian Police arrested the 25-year-old at Charlotte Gardens in Aberdeen, as part of a joint police operation from the national Football Co-ordination Unit for Scotland (FoCUS).

Four other men were arrested on Friday in connection with offensive singing at the Ramsdens Cup tie between Brechin City and Rangers on July 29.
