CRAIG Brown today backed new signing Gary Naysmith to have an immediate impact with Aberdeen FC.
The former Everton full-back has signed a one-year deal having impressed on trial during Aberdeen FC’s pre-season tour of Germany.
Capped 46 times by Scotland, Naysmith is in contention to start against Celtic in the SPL opener at Parkhead on Saturday (12.45pm).
