Craig Brown hopes Naysmith will sign for Aberdeen FC

ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown was today confident that cutting out an agent will ensure Gary Naysmith signs in time to face Celtic.

Naysmith impressed on trial in Germany and has been offered a short-term deal by Aberdeen FC.

Aberdeen chief executive Duncan Fraser jetted out to Hamburg to begin negotiations with the 33-year-old, and Brown reckons bypassing an agent can ensure a deal is quickly thrashed out in time for Saturday’s SPL opener at Parkhead.
