ABERDEEN council workers have impounded 306 vehicles after owners failed to pay their parking fines, new figures have revealed.
Most of those vehicles were returned after the hapless Aberdeen motorists paid a minimum £150 recovery fee but it emerged that 15 were sent to the crusher.
An Aberdeen City Council spokeswoman said today: “Anyone who doesn’t pay their parking tickets can expect to have their car seized. If you don’t pay to get it back we will crush or sell your car.”
