DEVELOPERS hope a £100 million state-of-the-art business park in Aberdeen could generate 5,000 jobs.

Drum Property Group has unveiled plans for the Prime Four hub at Kingswells which will house new office complexes, including the North Sea headquarters of two of the world’s leading energy corporations – Nexen Petroleum and Apache North Sea.

The work includes a £6 million roadworks programme.

Drum Property Group director Graeme Bone said: “There are inevitably consequences with any road-building project but the medium to long-term outcome will be very positive.

“By autumn next year, building will be complete and the widened roads around Kingswells will be in place.”
