Aberdeen biker jailed after driving through three red traffic lights

AN ABERDEEN biker who went through three red traffic lights and drove in the wrong direction up a one-way street has been jailed.

David Dalgarno, 23, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court where he admitted driving a motorcycle dangerously in Aberdeen’s city centre.

He also admitted driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, and failing to wear a helmet.

Dalgarno, whose address was given in court as 27 Beechwood Court, Aberdeen, was jailed for six months by Sheriff William Summers. It will be consecutive to one of 10 months he is already serving.

Sheriff Summers also banned Dalgarno from driving for two years and eight months.
