AS THE old song says “oooh, what a little moonlight can do”.

The nearest to romance my hubby of 32 years and I get these days is a takeaway on a Friday night when we are both pooped after a busy week.

On this occasion, we decided to try out the award-winning Moonlight Indian Fusion restaurant in Turriff.

We opted for the set meal for two, which at £26.95 includes poppadoms with onion chutney, salad, mint sauce, and mango chutney, along with vegetable pakora and chicken tikka.

The main dishes are chicken korma and chicken bhuna, with two pilau rice, a nan bread and a portion of bombay aloo.

Although the salad portion was smaller than we would have liked, the starters were plentiful and delicious.

The pilau was light and fragrant.

The korma came with tasty, moist portions of chicken, but the sauce was a little too liquid for my liking.

My hubby polished off the entire portion of his bhuna – which he rated first class – before diving into the remains of my korma.
