Six Aberdeen FC midfielders in battle for two places

CRAIG Brown today lit the touch-paper on a six-way battle in central midfield for Aberdeen FC – starting against Werder Bremen.

Tonight’s friendly will be Aberdeen FC’s biggest test before the SPL opener against Celtic on August 4.

Brown has brought six central midfielders to Germany – Rob Milsom, Gavin Rae, Isaac Osbourne, Stephen Hughes, Chris Clark and Ryan Jack. Yet only two central midfield spots are up for grabs for the trip to Parkhead.
