PATIENTS have been struck down by the highly contagious norovirus at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, the Evening Express can confirm today.

NHS Grampian health chiefs today said they were dealing with two confirmed cases of norovirus.

A spokeswoman for NHS Grampian said: “Ward 31 at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary has two confirmed cases of norovirus. A couple of patients are in isolation as a precaution.”
