DRIVERS are facing up to nine months of delays as roadworks get under way on a busy Aberdeen commuter route.

A stretch of the A944 Aberdeen to Westhill road has a 30mph restriction in place during off-peak hours after 7pm as upgrades are carried out.

The duration of work to the Aberdeen to Westhill road has not been finalised but electric road signs confirm it could take up to nine months to complete.
