Craig Brown: ‘Aberdeen FC will bounce back from Elgin defeat’

ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today urged their fans not to be too concerned by their shock 1-0 friendly defeat at Elgin.

Danny Moore’s eighth-minute penalty gave the Third Division side victory against a full-strength Aberdeen side.

Brown said: “I accept that we shouldn’t be losing any games to lower division sides. But we thumped Forfar last pre-season and everyone was saying how wonderful we were – but we never scored a goal in the next five games. That sort of thing has taught me not to get upset if we lose a friendly or go overboard if we win one.”
