RANGERS were today warned to expect the same treatment as Aberdeen when they come to Elgin next season.
The Third Division side highlighted their fighting qualities by beating Aberdeen 1-0 in their pre-season friendly clash at Borough Briggs.
Striker Danny Moore, whose first-half spot-kick decided the match, claimed the victory shows the newco Gers are in for a harder time when they compete in the lower tier than many people seem to think.
“We did enough to send out a message that Rangers won’t be in for an easy ride when they play in our league,” he said.
