Stewart Milne urges Red Army to get behind Aberdeen FC

ABERDEEN FC chairman Stewart Milne today called on the Red Army to get behind the club as it faces a “severe” challenge.

The rallying cry came after newco Rangers were denied entry to the First Division following a vote of SFL clubs.

The Glasgow side was today facing up to life in Division Three after 25 out of 30 clubs decided to deny them the chance to leap-frog into Division One.

Milne said: “I urge every single Dons supporter to get behind the club as we face these challenges that have come about as a result of this situation which was not our making.”
