Thug smashed glass into victim’s head in Aberdeen bar

A THUG has admitted carrying out a vicious attack with a glass in an Aberdeen bar.

Daniel Britain, 25, whose address was given in court as 16 Golfview Road, Bieldside, smashed a glass into victim Andrew Hindley’s head, leaving him severely injured.

The 25-year-old committed the offence at Triple Kirks on Aberdeen’s Schoolhill on January 22.

Britain will be sentenced on August 9 after Sheriff Graeme Napier ordered background reports.
