BRITAIN’S Got Talent judge Amanda Holden said she may jet in next year to visit a North-east community.
The star’s comment gave residents a boost after the Bervie’s Got Talent event – to help raise funds for a rundown play park – was cancelled due to a lack of entrants.
Youngster Kian Stephen, 8 – who was left distraught after discovering he wouldn’t be performing – said: “I had been practising every day. I’ve been teaching myself hip-hop from the people off the telly.”
And also soothing the ears of residents was singer Lewis Fraser.
Lewis is known throughout the village for his vocal talents.
And the 19-year-old was soon mesmerising his audience with a rendition of Ed Sheeran’s “A-team.”
