A FORMAL complaint has been lodged over the business case for a £92 million regeneration plan.

Mike Shepherd, who led a campaign group that fought the City Garden Project proposal, has branded the report by Aberdeen City Council officers a “travesty”.

The claims – fiercely rejected by supporters – have been outlined in a letter to Aberdeen City Council chief executive Valerie Watts.

Mr Shepherd has challenged assumptions that £15m of private cash and a £20m grant for the Art Gallery will be found.
