Aberdeen man fined for attacking shop worker
Attacker had been drinking on day of assault
AN ABERDEEN man who assaulted a shop worker in a drink-fuelled attack has been fined £240.
Andrew Leadbetter, 27, appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court where he pleaded guilty to attacking Mohammed Nizardeen at the Keystore Express shop on the city’s Great Northern Road on November 29 last year.
Leadbetter, whose address was given as Flat F, 8 Ferrier Gardens, Aberdeen, also admitted a separate charge of acting in a threatening or abusive manner, and was fined £240 by Sheriff Peter Hammond.
