‘Aberdeen FC can find gems in lower leagues’

ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown today insisted exciting talent can be found in Scotland’s lower leagues.

Brown confirmed Queen’s Park defender Paul McGinn will join Aberdeen on trial when the full-back recovers from recent minor surgery.

The 21-year-old was initially set to join up with Aberdeen FC for the start of pre-season, but picked up an injury while training with Queens.

Brown is also tracking Montrose striker Martin Boyle.
