Pair stole coins in assault in Cairncry Road

TWO brothers who admitted assaulting and robbing a taxi driver in Aberdeen have been locked up.

Jonathan Duncan, 26, and Christopher Duncan, 24, both pleaded guilty to attacking Derek Douglas and stealing a cup containing coins on February 25 in Aberdeen’s Cairncry Road.

Jonathan Duncan, whose address was given as 66 Cairnwell Drive, Aberdeen, was jailed for 18 months by Sheriff Edward Savage. Christopher Duncan, a prisoner in Craiginches, was locked up for 30 months.
