‘I had six other offers, but I choose Aberdeen FC’

ABERDEEN FC boss Craig Brown’s burning ambition for the new season convinced former Celtic star Niall McGinn to return to the SPL.

Now the Northern Ireland international aims to help the team capitalise on Rangers’ absence from the top flight.

McGinn, who signed a two-year deal with Aberdeen FC, said: “With all the turmoil that is going on in Scottish football I had to think about what was best for me. I also had six other offers on the table.”
