Club had debts of £39,000

ABERDEEN’S Trades Union Council social club has shut its doors for the last time owing £39,000, the Evening Express can reveal today.
The only remaining Trades Union Council social club in Scotland closed on Friday after being open for more than 150 years in Aberdeen.
Councillor Nathan Morrison, treasurer of the club, located in the Adelphi, said it was closed due to financial constraints.
