Woman fined for stealing £1,500 from Aberdeen hair salon

A WOMAN who stole £1,500 from an Aberdeen hair salon has been fined.

Claire Bailey, 20, had previously admitted stealing the cash from Angels at Nuffield Health, Justice Mill Lane, between January 1 and February 28 of last year.

Bailey was given six months to repay the cash when she previously appeared at Aberdeen Sheriff Court back in January, and the court heard Bailey has now saved £1,500 in order to repay the hairdresser in full.

Bailey, whose address was given in court papers as 469 Balnagask Road, Aberdeen, was fined £400 by Sheriff Edward Savage.
