Part of road closed after two cars crash

A ROAD was partially closed after a two-car crash.

The incident happened just after 11.50am near Oldmeldrum yesterday and involved a silver Toyota Avensis and black Renault Megane.

One lane of the B9170 Inverurie to Oldmeldrum road was closed while police attended.

Fire crews were also called due to smoke coming from one of the cars.
