A GRUESOME horror movie filmed in Aberdeen is set to make its UK silver screen debut.

Sawney: Flesh of Man puts a modern twist on the tale of a legendary 16th-century leader of a cannibalistic clan in South Ayrshire.

Produced by Aberdeen-based Philabeg Films, the film will premiere as part of FrightFest at the World Empire Cinema in London’s Leicester Square on August 23.
