Boys charged over alleged sex attack on girl, 11, at Aberdeen school

TWO boys have been charged by police in connection with an alleged sexual assault on a girl in a playground in Aberdeen.

The attack was said to have happened to an 11-year-old girl at an Aberdeen school.

The youngsters – aged 10 and 11 – are alleged to have targeted her during playtime.

Police confirmed there had been “an incident” at the Aberdeen school.

A Grampian Police spokeswoman confirmed that two boys aged 10 and 11 had been charged in connection with an incident which happened last Monday.

She said: “A report will be sent to the relevant authority.”

An Aberdeen City Council spokesman said there would be an investigation into whether the playground was properly supervised at the time.
