A RESCUE was launched after a visitor broke his leg plunging down stone steps at Dunnottar Castle.
The 36-year-old man was at Dunnottar Castle at Stonehaven with his wife and child when he tumbled down steps and broke his leg.
The Stonehaven tourist attraction was closed for more than an hour and the man, believed to be local, was transferred to hospital.
